Q. What comes on a standard Chubby Seat?
A. A 'standard' Chubby Seat comes with the following features:
*one toy/pacifier bungee band
*one bottle/sippy cup bungee band
*two large pockets (located inside
the seat)
*an attached tote bag with carrying
strap
*all this and our extra thick padding,
great fabric choices (or options for supplying/requesting your own), extra large, padded leg holes and coordinating safety
belt.
Q. What have studies shown to be found on carts or high chairs?
A. Studies have shown that Pink Eye, Cosacki, Mono, RSV and MANY other types of disease, germs and bacteria
have been found on shopping carts, high chairs and other tools of public use! Most of these can be spread just by touch!
Other concerns over blood (both human and other), saliva, even urine have been publically announced as well! These on
top of just regular every day dirt and grime makes for a very unsanitary surface for your little one to come into contact
with! Just because you can't see it, doens't mean it isn't there!

Q. Where can I use my Chubby seat?
These covers are made extra large to ensure that they will fit nicely onto a variety of surfaces.
Here are some examples
of where your Chubby seat cover will be useful:
- Public Shopping Carts
- (Including the extra large carts at wholesale warehouses!)
- Mall/Shopping Center Strollers
- Restaraunt High Chairs
- Movie/Restaurant Booster Seats
- Public Park Swings
- Even on Public changing stations!!
- These are just a few examples--just use your imagination!!
Q. Can I request an extra pocket or other feature I feel helpful to me?
A. You sure can! Chubby Seats are very easily customizable. If you have an idea of something
you would like to see on your seat, just sent me a message describing what you would like and I will see what I can do for
you! Additional costs may be required!
Q. How will my Chubby Seat be shipped?
A. All seats are shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service)!
We offer one shipping price for all our orders sent within the US and Canada! For shipping quotes
outside of the US and Canada....please e-mail us!
Q. Do you ship to APO addresses
and is there any additional shipping charge?We gladly ship to APO addresses for NO additional charge! You are also entitled to the free matching
pillow with your seat as well!
Q. How long will it take for my Chubby Seat to arrive?
A. It could take between 4-8 weeks for your seat to arrive to you! Each and every seat
is handmade by myself (Ange) or my Mother (Joyce) and are made at the time it is ordered! Because of an overwhelming
demand for the seats there is a bit of a wait time! If you need your seat for a special occasion please get in touch
with me before ordering so we can work out the details!
Q. Can a cover be altered for more than one child?
A. I can surely alter a Chubby Seat for two children (having 4 leg holes instead of 2).
However, there would is a bit of additional cost and you need to remember that if you have a seat with 4 leg holes you
would be limited to using this for one of your children on some things and you would only be able to use at stores that provide
these type of carts!

Q. Are Chubby Seats machine washable?
A. Yes they are!
We suggest a cool temperature, delicate cycle for washing
and air or machine tumble dry!
(don't forget to empty the pockets BEFORE washing!)
Q. Can the Chubby Seat be put on with one hand?
A. Yes, it can! It might take a little practice but you can most definatly put it one with one
free hand! There is an elastic band around the outer edge of the seat......all you have to do is loop one corner around
the seat back and pull around. Then just pull the leg openings through a bit and put your little one in! You can
finish adjusting and attaching the safety belt with your child in the seat!
Q. Why have an attached tote bag?
A. While creating Chubby Seats I tried to keep in mind any and
all aspects that I thought might arise! One concern of mine was the fact that I thought it looked rather tacky to walk
into a store or restaurant with a big bunched up seat! I wanted something that would be not only easier to transport,
but looked nice while doing so! The reason I attached the bag to the seat is because having four children myself, I
knew if it wasn't attached, it would be lost (or used by one of my children for something else!!!)
Q. How long can I use my Chubby Seat?
A. You can use your Chubby Seat from birth through about 4 years of age!
The seats are extra padded so that they are easy to use with a newborn who might lay sideways in the cart and with the extra
large, padded leg holes even older (or large) children will sit comfortably! Remember....Chubby Seats can be used on
just about anything your sit your child in, or on! And when your child does outgrow their seat, fold the seat into the
attached tote (including the tote strap) and it can be used as a nice, big pillow! |
